Working night shift since 1997 has definitely kept me from getting my fair share of sun. Also since I don't drink milk ; eat pretty crappy there was not much chance of getting the RDA of vitamin D via my diet. I didn't even realize how deficient I was until it literally felt like I was dying! I mean ZERO energy. It was a struggle just to get out of bed or do simple tasks..not to mention the foggy brain, dry lifeless skin ; hair, forgetfulness, and feeling depressed. Originally I thought it was a thyroid issue but had that ruled out then discoverd my vitamin D levels were ridiculously low. I have been taking this supplement for approx 2 months now ; it has really given me my vigor ; zest for life back! I feel like a whole new person. I recommend everyone get their vitamin D levels checked if you are at risk for being deficient like I was. Who knew such a tiny little pill could make such a huge difference?

I was looking around for a good buy in supplements prescribed by my doctor. I was horrified by the prices for good quality supplements in drug stores, even on sale. My search lead me to find these, and was especially attracted by the price. More than competitive, especially for the higher dose.
I was very content to find these higher potency gel tabs, as I like to take 5000IU/day. Few of us get enough sun to produce the amount of vitamin D we need as adults and, in any case, getting too much sun has its own problems in this day and age. Nice to be rectify the deficiency with one small gel tab.
These tabs are small and very easy to swallow. And they seem to be pure, and manufactured to a high standard.
